Surviving the 21st Century: Good Health in an Unnatural World

You and I live in an era of unavoidable daily toxin exposure. Our bodies have natural mechanisms to cleanse and detoxify, but our rapidly changing world has far outpaced these mechanisms. As a result, we each have varying degrees of toxic burden that is the underpinning for a wide variety of inflammatory symptoms and many common diseases.

Our diet and lifestyle can significantly aid or inhibit our natural detoxification processes through the body’s organs of elimination. The balance between toxin exposure and detoxification may be difficult to strike depending on where we live and work, as well as the rate and type(s) of toxic exposure.

This seminar is geared towards identifying areas of our diet and lifestyle that are keeping us from our optimal health, and discussing the ways in which we can use these areas as opportunities for beneficial change. We will highlight areas of toxic exposures in our food, water and environment, mechanisms of inflammation that are modifiable, emotional toxicity and lifestyle management skills, and discuss what healthy nutrition looks like. This seminar is meant to inform and inspire, to help you take charge and seize every opportunity you can to optimize your health.
